Technical Skills
Some awesome stuff that I work on
- Solving some of the hardest data problems on the planet. Period.
- Build a platform to democratize machine learning model development and deployment.
- I call it extreme engineering - while standing up the infrastructure for one of the key test automation initiatives, making it secured was a challenge. I had to go through great depths of how protocols (HTTP, HTTPS Tunelling, WebSockets, TCP/IP) really work. I architected the system to make it secured to the extent that it satisfied Cyber Security. In depth understanding of Proxy Servers, Proxy Chaining establishing Business Partner Networks and Network Security was required to deliver the platform firmwide. This was a project where I also got a chance to show my Linux engineerng skills and learnt a whole lot.
- I have established first ever developer communities within JPMorgan Chase introducing community driven development of automation tools within the firm.
- Creator & evangelist of the JPM Open Source Program which is the firms first "innner sourcing" initiative where innovative minds collaborate.
- I mentor Technology Analysts from TAP Program to manage their career and rapidly progress within the firm. I believe in bringing more women in technology and I mentor several women associates from the Tech Connect Program which is a program for bringing more women from non technology careers into technology.
- When in Cognizant I built several tools and services internally to Cognizant to improve their processes and was involved in several business and idea generation activities.
- Executed and delivered several turn key projects while at Cognizant for it’s clients involving frontend engineering, full stack development and architecture and business process management software.

Volunteering Experiences
Speaker
Academy Of Software Engineering, Department of Education, NYC, Sep 2014
On the first day of the school, after summer break, I talked about Software Engineering, Programming and provided the aspiring young students a perspective on the incredible things one can build with software and technology. I provided them a direction on how to achieve & align themselves to learn and do what they love and become future creators of amazing technology, rather than being a technology consumer. The interest and enthusiasm that I saw in them was out of bounds. I plan to engage more deeply into events and workshops. My mission is to create great software engineers (boys and girls alike).
Force for Good, Technology Mentor / Lead
Hands On Network, Sep 2014 – May 2015
As a part of the annual Force for Good program, we help non profit organizations solve their business problems with technology. We helped Hands On Central Ohio in creating a technology product that allows it to expand its outreach to a much wider area providing opportunities for them to reach and help more people needing their service. It was challenging being a technology manager and mentor to an awesome team of young technologists. There have been a lot of tough technical problems that the team faced and my role involved helped them get through those challenges. I helped the team with system architecture, design and infrastructure as well as on going technical assistance to the them.
Technology Mentor
Per Scholas, IT, Oct 2014 – Apr 2015
It's my mission to help create exceptional software engineers and what better opportunity could one get than to mentor young aspiring women who want to succeed in technology. I am also very interested in seeing the participation of Women In Technology and Per Scholas IT is just about the right institution to partner with and mentor candidates towards a successful career in IT. As a part of this initiative, I am devoting my time, training and mentoring candidates, so that they can be next generation creators of technology and awesomeness.
Application Reviewer
National Center For Women In IT (NCWIT), Nov 2013 and Nov 2014
NCWIT is all about aspirations of young women in computing and technology. As a reviewer and a volunteer you devote your time towards the cause. Last month, for the NCWIT awards, I reviewed applications of various participants. It is really impressive to see how those young girls use their skills in technology and computing.
